Hi and welcome to my little corner of the world. I’m a Peruvian-born digital media artist now living in the quiet, wild beauty of rural Northern California. Life here revolves around my small, wonderful family and the many rescued animals I’m lucky enough to care for — because I believe that caregiving is its own powerful form of resistance. Everything I create is deeply rooted in love, care, and the messy, beautiful work of trying to make things a little better. I’m so grateful you’re here to see it.

ARTIST STATEMENT
My work merges activism and digital media to shed light on the relationship between human behavior and the natural world, particularly how our misuse of power harms both us and the environment. Through my creative practice, I explore themes of plant and animal life, highlighting how we can rethink our role in the ecosystem.
The intersection of hard scientific data and artistic expression is at the core of my practice. I believe in the power of visual storytelling to translate complex information into accessible, engaging narratives that inspire action. By integrating research-driven content with compelling design, I create work that is both informative and visually striking, aiming to challenge perceptions and encourage tangible change.
I use a range of digital tools to bring these ideas to life, working across Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects to develop diverse projects. From illustrated guides and advocacy posters to animated videos and digital photography, my work takes many forms, each chosen to best communicate a message to its audience. The Future is Plants!, for example, transforms environmental science into an interactive, step-by-step guide, helping individuals remediate toxic soil through strategic plant selection.
In addition to environmental activism, I am committed to expanding the presence of animal rights within the fine arts world. Too often, animals are depicted in art as symbols or aesthetic elements rather than as sentient beings with agency and intrinsic value. My work seeks to challenge this passive representation, using visual media to highlight ethical concerns surrounding factory farming, species extinction, and the broader impact of human activity on non-human lives.
Ultimately, my goal is to carve out a space where activism and fine art intersect—where visual culture can not only provoke thought but also drive meaningful change in how we see and interact with the world around us.
